Randy Rowles

Randy Rowles has been an FAA pilot examiner for 25 years for all helicopter certificates and ratings and has more than 15,000 flight hours of helicopter experience. He was the 2021-2022 Chairman of the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Board of Directors. He received the 2013 HAI W.A. “Dub” Blessing Certified Flight Instructor of the Year award. He holds an FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate and a Master Flight Instructor Designation. Mr. Rowles owns Helicopter Institute Inc. located in Ft. Worth, Texas providing advanced and entry-level helicopter training services which include factory alternative (OEM), Night Vision Goggle (NVG), Part 119/135 Management Courses, and Train-the-Trainer instructor pilot training solutions. In addition, contract services include training program audits, and aviation management services and training for both Part 135 and 141 entities. In addition, Mr. Rowles is the Chief Instructor for the Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA) and Helicopter Association International (HAI) Flight Instructor Refresher Course (FIRC), and a monthly columnist for Rotorcraft Professional magazine with a column titled Rotorcraft Checkride.
